Reef Group are creators of places and have a passion for good design. They invest in urban areas to maximise their unrealised potential.
Tribeca London, named for the triangle of land beside Regent’s Canal, is Reef Group's newest place, set in a landmark quarter at the heart of London’s biotech knowledge cluster, featuring high quality workspace, state-of-the-art laboratories, and beautiful apartments, all arranged over five buildings.
Inspired by the vernacular of the area’s industrial past, but designed to deliver modern, flexible space alongside vibrant restaurants and high-quality public realm, Greenspace developed the place positioning strategy for Tribeca London and the legacy idea, ‘Life and Science – Connected’ to signal a new community, where occupiers can collaborate and innovate in a contemporary, waterside living environment.
We created an identity system that is a graphic interpretation of the strategy, starting with an ever-changing dynamic wordmark, and flexible, interconnected framework. The identity system has been built out into a dynamic and vibrant graphic language, using interconnected generative pattern treatments and motion behaviours to create endless expression. The new identity includes an extensive new online experience that takes the theme of connection into the digital realm.
Tribeca’s unique location sits in the centre of four converging London districts; Camden – an area bustling with life and activity; Kings Cross & Euston – both integral to London’s world-renowned bioscience cluster as well as vast amounts of leisure and retail offerings such as the stunning Coal Drops Yard; and Regents Park – 410 acres of sprawling, beautiful parkland.
A new pedestrian footbridge, enhancing connections between King’s Cross and Camden Town will bring people to and through Tribeca London.
